Toyota has offered the 5th generation of their 4Runner since the 2010 model year. 11 years is a long time to offer the same platform, but when a design isn’t broken, why fix it? With a proven powertrain and off roading heritage dating back to the 80s, the 4Runner is an iconic platform to start an overland build.
